Hello, my name is Laura and this is my dog Fifi.
I have always wanted a dog of my own and, many birthday wishes later, I finally got my first dog, Fifi, who is my adorable best friend, hence the inspiration for ‘Fi & Friends’.
As well as being the owner of Fi & Friends I am currently employed by Guide Dogs For The Blind as an evening Dog Care Kennel Assistant. I am responsible for the care and welfare of up to 35 trainee Guide Dogs during their time in early training. I’m very proud to be a part of the Guide Dog family as it has enabled me to gain extensive knowledge and a wealth of experience.
I have always had an absolute passion for animals and from a young age I have cared for my own, as well as looking after my family and friends’ pets. Later my ambition to work with animals led me to initially become a volunteer and a boarder for Guide Dogs, which has always been a pleasure to support and be a part of.
Relevant Training:
I have a current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, Safeguard Training and hold a Canine First Aid & CPR Course Certificate.
(Copies of all certificates are available on request).
